Track I                        Now that I am here, what do I do?

Liquor ceased to be a luxury: it became a necessity…I still thought I could control the situation… Gradually things got worse…I woke up. This had to stop   Big Book pg 5

Track II                        Emotional Sobriety-What is that? Getting out of Survival Mode.

I think that many oldsters who have put our AA “booze cure” to severe but successful tests still find they often lack emotional sobriety. Perhaps they will be the spearhead for the next major development in AA—the development of much more real maturity and balance….                                                                     Language of the Heart pg. 236

Track III                       In Prayer- Steps 3 and 7

“Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him. “ Big Book pg. pg. 59

Al-Anon                      Track I

“…THE INTIMATE DETAILS EXCHANGED STRENGTHEN THE BONDS OF COMPASSION, ACCEPTANCE, AND UNDERSTANDING.  THIS PRIVATE RELATIONSHIP IS FOCUSED ON THE AL-ANON PRINCIPLES.  MAKING A COMMITMENT TO THIS SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP, OR LETTING GO OF THE RELATIONSHIP, IS A PERSONAL CHOICE.”

(M78-Sponsorship-Working Together to Recover)

12:30-1:30  This year's AA Play

Track I             The God thing, How Do I Get Around it or Do I? Religious vs. Spiritual

With few exceptions our members find that they have tapped an unsuspected inner resource which they presently identify with their own conception of a Power greater than themselves

                          Big Book Appendix II

Track II            A Disease of Perception- Letting People In

It wasn’t AA that had the closed mind, it was me. The minute I stopped arguing, I could see and feel….To acquire it, I had only to stop fighting and practice the rest of AA’s program as enthusiastically as I could.                             12x12 pg 27

Track III           Step 11 – Meditation- The  Saint Francis Prayer

The actual experience of meditation and prayer across the centuries is, of course, immense. It is to be hoped that every AA who has a religious connections which emphasizes meditation will return to the practice of that devotion as never before.     12x12 pg. 98

Al-Anon-             Track II

“…THE EFFECTS OF ALCOHOLISM - - OBSESSION, ANXIETY, ANGER, DENIAL, AND FEELINGS OF GUILT - - TEND TO PERSIST UNTIL WE SEEK RECOVERY FOR OURSELVES.”

(How Al-Anon Works, pg. 20)

3:00-4:00

Track I             Sponsorship - How do I get one and what do we do?

Life will take on new meaning. To watch people recover, to see them help others, to watch loneliness vanish, to see a fellowship grow up about you, to have a host of friends—this is an experience you must not miss. We know you will not want to miss it.  Big Book pg. 89

3:00-4:00

Track II            Balance - Life on Life’s terms

Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. Unless I accept life completely on life’s terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes.

Track III           A Guided Meditation on Forgiveness and Love

Perhaps one of the greatest rewards of meditation and prayer is the sense of belonging that comes to us. We no longer live in a hostile world. We are no longer lost and frightened and purposeless.    12x12 pg. 105

Al-Anon          Track III

“PRAYER AND MEDITATION TAKE MANY DIFFERENT FORMS, BUT THEY ALL HAVE A COMMON GOAL - - TO PUT US IN BETTER AND MORE CONSCIOUS TOUCH WITH THE GOD OF OUR UNDERSTANDING, THE PROVEN SOURCE OF STRENGTH, LOVE AND HOPE IN OUR LIVES.  WITH SUCH SPIRITUAL HELP, WE CAN ACCOMPLISH PREVIOUSLY UNIMAGINABLE GOALS, EVEN THE GOAL OF LIVING HAPPY AND GRATIFYING LIVES.”
